The North Africa Internet Governance Forum (NAIGF) is pleased to announce the organization of the Capacity Building Program on Internet Governance, also known as the North Africa School on Internet Governance – NASIG-24, which will be held from October 26-28, 2024, in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
Co-hosted by the Digital Agency of the State and the Center for Training and Distance Learning, NASIG-24 will be a key event aimed at educating and raising awareness among participants on essential issues related to Internet governance. This program will precede the annual NAIGF-24 meeting, scheduled for October 29-31, 2024, which will bring together experts, decision-makers, and stakeholders from across the region to discuss major Internet governance challenges in North Africa.
Interested applicants from North African countries who wish to participate in person are invited to submit their application through the online form before September 12, 2024. The number of participants accepted for NASIG-24 will be determined based on available financial resources, highlighting the importance of applying promptly to maximize the chances of selection.
This event is a unique opportunity for young professionals, civil society actors, academics, and government regulators to gain knowledge on Internet governance issues, network with other professionals in the region, and make a significant contribution to discussions on the future of the Internet in North Africa.
